The Funeral Grant (FG) refers to financial support provided by the JCPD to offset funeral expenses for a deceased registered client of the JCPD. The Grant offers a maximum of Fifty Thousand Jamaican Dollars (JMD 50,000) towards funeral expenses.

ELIGIBILITY

1. The deceased individual must have been registered with the JCPD before death.
2. Burial Order
3. Invoice for burial
4. Applicants must provide evidence that he/she has made a payment in the form of a receipt towards the funeral expenses in question.
5. Applicants must be unemployed or earning no more than the national minimum wage as determined by the Government of Jamaica.

WHO CAN APPLY?

Caregiver or Next of Kin of the deceased person with disabilities registered with the JCPD.
