The Jamaica Council for Persons with Disabilities (JCPD) is the national agency responsible for implementing policies and programmes that promote the rights
and inclusion of persons with disabilities. We empower individuals through skills training, economic opportunities, and collaborative partnerships
with both government and non-governmental organisations.
JCPD is committed to delivering quality services that support the independence,
development, and dignity of persons with disabilities across Jamaica.

JCPD operates under the Ministry of Labour and Social Security and serves as the lead agency for disability affairs in Jamaica.

Through strategic collaboration with public and private stakeholders, we work to ensure that persons with disabilities

receive equal opportunities and access to services, education, and employment.
