Identifies persons with disabilities and maintains a Confidential Register of PWDs in Jamaica. Registration helps to make planning for and mobilizing PWDs more efficient.
Provides a Certificate of Registration. This certificate can be used to prove that someone is registered as a person with a disability and can access certain benefits. Persons with disabilities can also access concessionary bus fares in the Kingston Metropolitan Area and St. Catherine with this certificate.
